2005 South Atlanta Championship winner:        The Blood Feast Island Men 2005 South Atlanta Championship runner up:  The Terminators It was a great tournament this year.  Teams competed for the chance to be called the SAC champions, but in the end it came down to two teams.   The final format was a best of 5 series.  The first two games were simple last man standing (team) formats.  The BFIM  won the first game by eliminating all of the The Terminators with minimal loss of their own.  The BFIM also won the second game, but this time is was much closer.  Only 1 BFIM team member  was left standing at the end of the second game. The next series of games were a bomb plant format, were one team defended a base while the other team tried to plant a fake bomb in it.   The BFIM needed only one more win to claim The SAC Championship, but The Terminators had other ideas.  The Terminators defended the base during game 3 and successfully kept the BFIM from planting the bomb.  The BFIM had the challenge of defending the base during game 4.  The Terminators tried to bring the bomb up the middle but found stiff resistance.  They fell back and flanked their right and slowly moved up and planted the bomb and won game 4. The score was now tied up two to two with game 5 determining the champion.  The BFIM won the coin toss and decided to defend the base for the final game.  The Terminators again had the task of planting the bomb, but the flank they tried the game before was heavily guarded.  The fell back to regroup, but time was running out.  With only 2 minutes left, The Terminators pushed up their left flank with taggers blazing.  Yet, The BFIM stood their ground and defended the base and became the The 2005 South Atlanta Champions.   Congratulations to The Blood Feast Island Men and all the other teams that competed in the tournament.
